Cricket West Indies (CWI) has confirmed management plans for fast bowlers Jayden Seales, Shamar Joseph and Alzarri Joseph ahead of a series of matches.

CWI said the approach is aimed at maintaining player fitness and availability.

Seales and Shamar Joseph will return to regional cricket under managed conditions during the West Indies Championship.

Seales will be available from April 9 and is expected to feature in the opening rounds. His participation beyond that stage will be assessed based on team progress.

Shamar Joseph will be available from April 13, with the Guyana Harpy Eagles able to include him in preparation sessions before that date. Workload plans will guide both players.

Alzarri Joseph will not take part in the West Indies Championship after receiving clearance to play in the Pakistan Super League. CWI said his involvement forms part of his return from injury, with monitoring to continue during the tournament and ahead of upcoming matches.

CWI said the plans come as the team prepares for a schedule that includes a home series against Sri Lanka, a five-match One Day International series against New Zealand and a two-Test series against Pakistan.

This will be followed by the Caribbean Premier League and away tours to India and Bangladesh.

Director of Cricket Miles Bascombe said the management of fast bowlers remains a priority.
