Kesar meets ARTEMIS Energy executives

Min­is­ter in the Min­istry of En­er­gy, Ernesto Ke­sar, met with ex­ec­u­tives of ARTEMIS En­er­gy Lim­it­ed on Wednes­day.

Al­so present was Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary (Ag.) Karin­sa Tulsie. Rep­re­sent­ing the com­pa­ny were CEO Nicholas Mike and Ex­ec­u­tive Chair­man Roger Mike.

The meet­ing fo­cused on the en­er­gy sec­tor in Trinidad and To­ba­go and the role of lo­gis­tics and man­pow­er providers. Com­pa­ny rep­re­sen­ta­tives out­lined op­er­a­tions, pri­or­i­ties and ar­eas of work.

Ke­sar stat­ed the Gov­ern­ment’s po­si­tion on en­gage­ment with stake­hold­ers and on en­sur­ing the sec­tor sup­ports na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment and the lo­cal in­dus­tri­al base.

Both sides dis­cussed col­lab­o­ra­tion and iden­ti­fied ar­eas for con­tin­ued en­gage­ment. Agree­ment was reached to main­tain di­a­logue as ini­tia­tives move for­ward.

The Min­istry of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries stat­ed it will con­tin­ue dis­cus­sions with stake­hold­ers and sup­port ini­tia­tives aimed at in­vest­ment and eco­nom­ic ac­tiv­i­ty in the sec­tor.
