Minister in the Ministry of Energy, Ernesto Kesar, met with executives of ARTEMIS Energy Limited on Wednesday.
Also present was Permanent Secretary (Ag.) Karinsa Tulsie. Representing the company were CEO Nicholas Mike and Executive Chairman Roger Mike.
The meeting focused on the energy sector in Trinidad and Tobago and the role of logistics and manpower providers. Company representatives outlined operations, priorities and areas of work.
Kesar stated the Government’s position on engagement with stakeholders and on ensuring the sector supports national development and the local industrial base.
Both sides discussed collaboration and identified areas for continued engagement. Agreement was reached to maintain dialogue as initiatives move forward.
The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries stated it will continue discussions with stakeholders and support initiatives aimed at investment and economic activity in the sector.
