Earlier that day, around 6 pm, Deoajit, the man and a relative were liming and drinking at her home before going to another nearby house where they continued.

Her brother became concerned and went to check on her around 6.30 pm yesterday but found the house locked. He entered through a window and found her body.

Friends and relatives later took to social media, describing her as an avid cricketer and a pleasant person. She had won several trophies during her time at Cedros Secondary School and in community competitions.
