Jereem to lead T&T team to World Indoor Championships

Jereem Richards will lead a Trinidad and To­ba­go team to the World Ath­let­ics In­door Cham­pi­onships Ku­jawy Po­morze 2026 sched­uled for March 20 to 22 in Poland.

The team was an­nounced by the Na­tion­al As­so­ci­a­tion of Ath­let­ics Ad­min­is­tra­tions of Trinidad and To­ba­go.

Richards will com­pete in the 400 me­tres. He won the 400 me­tres at the 2022 World Ath­let­ics In­door Cham­pi­onships.

Leah Bertrand will com­pete in the 60 me­tres.

Tyra Git­tens will com­pete in the long jump.

Nathan Cum­ber­batch will com­pete in the 800 me­tres.

The team will de­part Trinidad and To­ba­go on March 16 and re­turn on March 23.

Of­fi­cials for the team are Je­hue Gor­don as Team Man­ag­er and Coach, Don­a­van Spotsville as Coach and Nicole Fuentes-Charles as Team Med­ical.

The as­so­ci­a­tion said four ath­letes and three of­fi­cials will rep­re­sent Trinidad and To­ba­go at the cham­pi­onships.
