A 51-year-old Beetham man is being treated for a gunshot wound he sustained after an argument with another man in his neighbourhood on Thursday night.
Police said the man was outside his home on 22nd Street at 8 pm when he got into an argument with another man from the neighbourhood.
After the argument, he returned home, but the suspect followed him inside and the two began fighting.
The man ran out of the house towards the Priority Bus Route. He said he then heard a gunshot and felt a stinging sensation on the right side of his neck before collapsing on Main Street, Beetham.
An ambulance was called and took him to hospital for treatment.
