The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) will undertake its second Trade Mission on the Seas from February 28 to March 10, led by CEO Dr Mahindra Ramdeen.

The mission will include 15 Trinidad and Tobago companies from the food and beverage, paper and packaging, construction, chemicals and services sectors. Participating companies will engage in business-to-business meetings across four regional markets.

Meetings are scheduled in Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia, Puerto Rico and Sint Maarten. The meetings form part of a seven-destination cruise itinerary.

CEO Dr Mahindra Ramdeen said the Trade Mission on the Seas model provides a platform for exporters, including small and medium-sized enterprises, to access multiple markets within a single mission. He said participants will benefit from coordinated meetings and institutional support.

CEO Dr Mahindra Ramdeen said the mission follows the inaugural trade mission on the seas. He said the association remains focused on assisting member companies to secure commercial outcomes.

CEO Dr Mahindra Ramdeen said the TTMA will undertake an extra-regional mission to India in April to advance the export agenda for members.

The TTMA said it continues to support export diversification and regional economic integration.
