The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) has confirmed the registered submissions for the National Road March Competition 2026.
Following the close of registration, some 18 songs have been officially entered.
Yesterday, soca artiste Bunji Garlin disclosed that he entered the 2026 Road March competition after previously declaring he would step away from the contest following last year’s controversy involving a tabulator.
TUCO reminded the public that the Road March winner is determined by the song played the highest number of times at designated judging points during the Parade of the Bands on Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday.
The organisation extended best wishes to all competitors and looks forward to an exciting and closely contested Road March as the nation celebrates Carnival 2026.
