Tancoo says all salaries and backpay paid

Fi­nance Min­is­ter Dav­en­dranath Tan­coo has claimed that all salaries and back pay have been paid on time.

Tan­coo made the claim in a What­sApp sta­tus, which read: “Still think the me­dia is un­bi­ased? Salaries and back pay on time and not a me­dia house beep.”

There has been no of­fi­cial re­lease from the Min­istry of Fi­nance con­firm­ing the pay­ments.

Guardian Me­dia has con­tact­ed Pub­lic Ser­vices As­so­ci­a­tion (PSA) pres­i­dent Fe­l­isha Thomas to ver­i­fy whether all salaries and back pay were, in fact, paid.
