Member of Parliament for Trincity/Maloney Camille Robinson-Regis has announced that she is recovering well following a planned medical procedure and is expected to resume full official duties in January 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday, Robinson-Regis expressed gratitude to constituents, colleagues, and well-wishers who reached out during her temporary absence. She noted that the procedure, conducted several months ago, was not serious and that her recuperation has progressed steadily.

According to the MP, despite her reduced physical presence, constituency operations remained fully functional throughout her recovery period. Robinson-Regis said she maintained regular communication with key stakeholders across the constituency as well as with staff at the Trincity/Maloney Constituency Office. She assured the public that all services continued uninterrupted and that ongoing matters received the necessary attention.

The MP emphasized her commitment to serving the people of Trincity/Maloney, stating that the constituency office has remained operational and focused on addressing community needs. She added that she looks forward to returning to engagements with residents in person early in the new year.

Robinson-Regis also extended thanks for what she described as an “outpouring of kindness and support” during her recovery, noting that the messages of concern and encouragement were deeply appreciated.

Her announcement puts to rest recent speculation surrounding her absence and sets the stage for her planned full resumption of parliamentary and constituency responsibilities after the holiday period.
