Valencia farmer found dead

A Va­len­cia farmer who left home on Wednes­day morn­ing to tend to his gar­den, was found dead hours lat­er by po­lice af­ter his moth­er con­tact­ed them to say her son had been killed.

The bul­let-rid­dled body of An­tho­ny Sankar, 42, of Oro Street, KP Lands in Va­len­cia – was dis­cov­ered around 8.40 pm on No­vem­ber 26.

Sankar re­port­ed­ly left home around 11 am, tak­ing his weed-wack­er with him af­ter telling rel­a­tives he was go­ing to clean and cut his gar­den which is lo­cat­ed ap­prox­i­mate­ly one mile off the Va­len­cia By-Pass Road.

Of­fi­cers were alert­ed by a fe­male rel­a­tive af­ter Sankar failed to re­turn home by 6 pm, as he was ac­cus­tomed to do­ing.

Checks around 8.40 pm led to the grue­some dis­cov­ery.
