William Hague has warned that the international community must be “prepared to do more” to end the Syria crisis following talks in Washington with US secretary of state John Kerry. The Foreign Secretary said the two nations remained committed to securing a diplomatic solution but suggested they must be ready to increase pressure on Bashar Assad’s regime.
