TTMA leads trade mission to Guyana, Suriname

The Trinidad and To­ba­go Man­u­fac­tur­ers’ As­so­ci­a­tion (TTMA) has launched a trade mis­sion to Guyana and Suri­name, tak­ing place from June 9 to June 12.

The mis­sion, led by TTMA Pres­i­dent Dale Par­son, in­cludes a del­e­ga­tion of 32 com­pa­nies and 50 par­tic­i­pants, rep­re­sent­ing a di­verse range of sec­tors and in­ter­ests.

The del­e­ga­tion fea­tures eight small and mi­cro en­ter­pris­es, along with five par­tic­i­pants from To­ba­go.

Par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­nies in­clude in­dus­try lead­ers such as CGA Lim­it­ed, Pure Har­vest Group of Com­pa­nies, Ramps Lo­gis­tics, DSB Mar­ket­ing, and Mecal­fab, span­ning sec­tors such as Print­ing and Pack­ag­ing, Food and Bev­er­age, and Chem­i­cals.

Dur­ing the six-day mis­sion, the TTMA del­e­ga­tion will par­tic­i­pate in a full slate of ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing Busi­ness-to-Busi­ness (B2B) meet­ings, Do­ing Busi­ness Sem­i­nars, Cock­tail Re­cep­tions, Mar­ket Vis­its, and In­dus­try Tours in both Guyana and Suri­name. These en­gage­ments are de­signed to deep­en trade ties, ex­plore sourc­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties, and cre­ate new in­vest­ment and mar­ket­ing chan­nels for Trinidad and To­ba­go man­u­fac­tur­ers.

“This mis­sion is a strate­gic step to­ward build­ing syn­er­gies and ex­plor­ing new mar­kets for our mem­bers,” said Mr. Dale Par­son. “We look for­ward to mean­ing­ful di­a­logue, valu­able con­nec­tions, and stronger part­ner­ships with our CARI­COM neigh­bours.”
