TI demands action on Panama Papers

THE LOCAL chapter of Transparency International (TI) yesterday joined its parent body in calling for an in-depth investigation into allegations of corruption contained in the documents known as “The Panama Papers”. In a statement, TT Transparency Institute Chairman Deryck Murray said there have already been accusations of funds belonging to nationals of this country being stashed in shell companies.
