St. Lucia Teen Charged With Murder


CaribWorldNews, CASTRIES, St. Lucia, Thurs. June 25, 2009: A teenage girl has been slapped with a murder charge for the June 13th killing of a 20-year-old.

The 13-year-old, whose name has not been revealed because of her age, along with 19-year-old Ava Alexander are accused of stabbing Kevana Antonia King in a suspected gangland killing.

Police did not give a motive for the murder but said the assailants had been feuding with another gang of teenage girls.

A murder charge carries a mandatory death sentence on conviction.
