Southland hit hard by flooding

TORRENTIAL rains yesterday caused havoc in several parts of South Trinidad causing flooding throughout areas in San Fernando and La Romaine. Up to late last night, affected families were still counting their losses estimated to be thousands of dollars in damage to furniture, appliances and more. Fire appliances were also called out to assist many of the residents who were marooned in their homes.
