A HIGH COURT judge has ordered that a 16-year-old teenager, remanded to the Youth Training Centre (YTC) on September 1, after he was denied bail on a charge of wounding with intent, be released into the custody of his mother. Justice Ricky Rahim yesterday made the order as he stayed a decision of deputy Chief Magistrate Mark Wellington to remand the teen to the YTC, as well as, the remand warrant which gives the prisons the authority to keep him in their custody.
