PoS vendors must move

VENDORS who have been occupying the Salvatori Site on Frederick Street and Independence Square, on a ‘temporary’ basis in recent years, have been given until February 14 to vacate the premises, according to Port-of-Spain City Mayor, Raymond Tim Kee. The Mayor yesterday told the Portof- Spain City Council’s Statutory meeting at City Hall, Port-of- Spain, that the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UdeCoTT) which has jurisdiction over the site, has indicated that if the vendors do not move by the given date, it will take legal action against them.
