PM: Crime stats useless if people don’t feel safe

CRIME statistics showing a reduction, is of no comfort or use if people still do not feel safe in their respective communities, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley stated yesterday as he formally opened the new Besson Street Police Station in East Port-of-Spain. Nonetheless, Rowley expressed confidence in Government’s ‘crime plan’ which is to rely on the TT Police Service and officers to return the country to a level of safety and security that is acceptable and attainable.
