Passenger Plane Wreckage ‘Spotted In Desert’

The wreckage of a passenger jet which vanished from radar in West Africa has been spotted in northern Mali’s desert, the country’s president has said. President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita said: “I have just been informed that the wreckage has been found between Aguelhoc and Kidal.” Two French fighter jets have been searching for the Air Algerie plane, which was carrying 110 passengers and six crew.
