

The Government has announced the official visit of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to Trinidad and Tobago from July 3 to July 4.
The visit marks a milestone in diplomatic relations between Trinidad and Tobago and India, which began in 1962.
Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in multiple sectors. These include finance, foreign policy, justice, education, legal affairs, health, agriculture, trade, energy, culture, sports, and information communication technology.
The Government indicated that the visit is intended to lay the foundation for deeper strategic collaboration between both nations.
The visit of Prime Minister Modi follows a series of high-level diplomatic engagements aimed at advancing bilateral partnerships across economic and social development areas.
Government officials from both countries are expected to meet to discuss existing cooperation frameworks and new opportunities for collaboration.
The two-day visit will include official meetings with the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, as well as other senior government officials.
Trinidad and Tobago and India continue to share historical and cultural ties, with this visit serving to advance future cooperation between both states.
