Ministry issues reminder on PBR permit recalls

The Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion is re­mind­ing the pub­lic that its re­call of Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route (PBR) Let­ter Per­mits con­tin­ues—specif­i­cal­ly those num­bered 0001 through 0645—and that “these Per­mits shall be ren­dered in­valid as of Tues­day 1 Ju­ly 2025.

The Min­istry is strong­ly en­cour­ag­ing hold­ers of PBR Let­ter Per­mits to re­turn them to the Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion be­fore the ex­piry date.

Sub­mis­sions may be made in per­son or via a recog­nised couri­er ser­vice ad­dressed to:

The Min­istry al­so out­lined the steps for those wish­ing to ap­ply for New PBR Let­ter Per­mits.

“In­di­vid­u­als or en­ti­ties are al­so re­mind­ed that to re-ap­ply or ob­tain a PBR Let­ter Per­mit, a new ap­pli­ca­tion MUST be sub­mit­ted as part of the up­dat­ed process. Ap­pli­cants are re­quired to sub­mit a “Let­ter of Ap­pli­ca­tion” ad­dressed to the Per­ma­nent Sec­re­tary, Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion,” the Min­istry’s ad­vi­so­ry ex­plained.

It notes that the doc­u­ment may be hand-de­liv­ered to the Min­istry’s Head Of­fice or emailed to pbrap­pli­ca­[email protected] and that ap­pli­ca­tion let­ters must be ac­com­pa­nied by sup­port­ing doc­u­ments and in­clude the fol­low­ing in­for­ma­tion:
