Man in critical condition after shooting in Moruga

A 39-year-old man from Moru­ga re­mains in crit­i­cal con­di­tion af­ter be­ing shot mul­ti­ple times in front of his home yes­ter­day morn­ing.

Po­lice re­port­ed that around 6.30 a.m., the vic­tim, a res­i­dent of Fifth Com­pa­ny Road, was en­ter­ing his car to go to work when a lone gun­man ap­proached and opened fire, in­flict­ing sev­er­al gun­shot wounds.

He was tak­en to the Princes Town Dis­trict Health Fa­cil­i­ty be­fore be­ing trans­ferred to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal, where he un­der­went emer­gency surgery.

Au­thor­i­ties con­firmed he re­mains in crit­i­cal con­di­tion, and in­ves­ti­ga­tions in­to the in­ci­dent are on­go­ing.
