US vetoes UNSC ceasefire resolution as death, starvation consume Gaza

  • Israel has killed three journalists in an attack on Al-Ahali Hospital, also known as the Baptist Hospital, in Gaza City. At least 23 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza today.
  • The US vetoes a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, the only country to do so.
