‘Imbert not willing to pay the price’

FINANCE Minister Colm Imbert is not prepared to pay the political price for taking the tough and unpopular choices to deal with the country’s ever-deepening economic crisis. This from former PNM Minister in the Finance Ministry Mariano Browne who said that this country’s downgrade by Moody’s Investors Service was expected given TT’s economic climate. In fact, the economist believes even stricter action should have been taken by Government to improve the situation .
