Imam urges: Be good Muslims

IMAM Mohamed Munaf Mohamed yesterday made an impassioned plea for peace in the embattled area of Enterprise, Chaguanas and called on mourners to exemplify the principles of Islam in their daily lives. Mohamed made the remarks at the funeral of slain reputed hitman Thomas ‘Hamza’ Sharpe at the Caroni Mosque.

A BALLISTICS test done at the Forensic Science Centre has revealed that businessman and reputed gang leader Selwyn ‘Robocop’ Alexis did not shoot anyone when he and another man were ambushed and gunned down last Sunday outside his (Alexis) carwash business place in Enterprise, Chaguanas.
