An 18-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man are in police custody after they were found with more than 300 grammes of marijuana at a vendor’s lot on Charlotte Street, Port of Spain.

According to police at about 10 pm, members of the City Police Task Force, led by Supts Charles and Hinkson and including PCs Nyron Allen, Selvon Mc Shine and Dwayne John, received information that led them to a DVD store. After a search, they found 331.3 grammes of marijuana.

The teen and the man were arrested and are expected to be charged for possession of marijuana.
