Dillon tells top cop: Get murder rate down

NATIONAL Security Minister Edmund Dillon has called on Acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams to re-strategise crime fighting techniques in order to get the alarming murder rate – which stood at 396 up to press time – down. This as Dillon was yesterday informed that Northern Division accounts for 98.1 percent of the nation’s murders, followed by the Central Division which accounted for 36.1 percent.
