Body found on Lady Young Road still unidentified

Po­lice are try­ing to iden­ti­fy the body of a man that was found on the La­dy Young Road on Tues­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said they re­ceived a re­port that a man's body was dis­cov­ered on a grassy area, about 21 feet from the road­side, be­hind a met­al bar­ri­cade.

Of­fi­cers went to the area and found the man's body.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said the man was about six feet tall, medi­um built, wear­ing a pair of black three-quar­ter pants and a cam­ou­flage pat­terned t-shirt.

Po­lice al­so not­ed that the man's hands and feet were tied with plas­tic tie straps and a white cloth was wrapped around his face.

A Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer was called in to the scene, who de­clared the man dead.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors from the Re­gion 1 Homi­cide Bu­reau are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
