A 69-year-old Couva woman was robbed outside her home by two men wearing WASA-branded clothing on Tuesday morning.
Police said the woman was driving into the driveway of her Preysal Village home around 9.50 am when she saw two men running towards her. One of them opened the driver’s side door and grabbed her handbag, which contained her cellphone, bank cards, TT $2,000 and US $1,000.
The suspects, who were wearing WASA polo shirts and hard hats, got into a beige car parked nearby and escaped. Police are investigating.
