‘Apples, grapes and KFC days over’

The Prime Minister, in her most recent advertisement, asks for support from the undecided voters for her slate of ministerial candidates. Why should they bother to vote for them? Late invitations are supposedly insulting depending on just how late they were delivered.

To date the Partnership election strategy may best be described as a “tragedy.” Every action devised has turned against the party. The ongoing No Rowley campaign has exposed a paucity of cutting edge thought to galvanise support.

Where will the ideas emanate to fix the economy, crime and health care if nothing spectacular has occurred in the past five years?

Whoever the person leading the government is, that person will have a daunting task in telling the electorate how best to survive on shining bush tea, mangoes and roast bakes. The apples, grapes and KFC days are over.
