Burnt body found inside vehicle in Wallerfield

Po­lice are prob­ing the mur­der of a man whose burnt body was dis­cov­ered in­side a ve­hi­cle along Moo­nan Road in Waller­field over the week­end. 

The body was found near Block 5, Moo­nan Road. In­ves­ti­ga­tors be­lieve the de­ceased is Clint Gomez, al­so known by the alias "Milky," al­though of­fi­cial con­fir­ma­tion is ex­pect­ed pend­ing fur­ther in­quiries.

The charred re­mains were re­moved from the scene and are ex­pect­ed to un­der­go an au­top­sy at the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre, St James.

Au­thor­i­ties have not dis­closed ad­di­tion­al de­tails sur­round­ing the cir­cum­stances of Gomez's death as in­ves­ti­ga­tions con­tin­ue.
