A 38-year-old man was found shot dead in the car park of a bar in Kelly Village early Saturday.
Police said they received a report of loud explosions around 2.45 a.m. and, on arrival, were directed to the body of Gabriel Simon, which was lying in the car park to the front of the bar.
According to police, Simon was last seen alive around 2.25 a.m. when he attempted to separate his brother and a woman who were arguing inside the bar. After they went their separate ways, he walked outside to smoke a cigarette. Several loud explosions were heard about fifteen minutes later, and he was found lying motionless.
He was found on his back, wearing a red sweat suit and white-and-red multi-coloured sneakers, with his arms outstretched. He had apparent gunshot injuries to the face.
